As an entertainer who has traveled and worked the circuit throughout the vast majority of the western United States, I would have to say, at first blush my expectations of Platinum Plus were not very high. I had just returned from a 2 year stint in Western New York (Buffalo)where my home club had been raided and to be honest wasn't expecting much.

I did drive nearly 2500 miles from one coast to the other. That was well over a year ago!

I must say that my expectations of this club have been exceeded on nearly every level. Firstly, after having lived and worked in both So.California and Las Vegas, never in my wildest dreams would I have expected to encounter a "Vegas style" club in Columbia. While Columbia is a capitol city, the exterior of the building initially is what made me think okay what is this club going to be like? However, once inside I was pleased that they had a champagne room and semi private rooms. Additionally, we are free to negotiate the fee for our dances and the house only takes a house fee and tip out. Whereas in New York, we were literally paying half of each and every dance before we even went back to the champagne room, leaving little left for us girls. In addition, we still had our house fees, and tip out.

I find that there is RARELY a shortage of girls to choose from at Platinum. They do come in all shapes and sizes. One should note that some are certainly more attractive than others in terms of packaging AND personality; beauty of course is in the eye of the beholder. The girls are the most professional and polite that I have ever worked with. The management is proficient in terms of ferreting out any drama or nipping any problems in the bud. It truly is like a work family. The drink special runs the longest in town from 4 pm to 8 pm and it runs daily. I typically work that day shift as I have always had a preference for older men. I guess my only complaint that I have is that the volume of the music doesn't exactly lend itself towards intimate conversation. At the end of the day, I have found my time in Columbia to be enjoyable and my encounters with customers and other entertainers alike to be pleasant. I would recommend this club to both entertainers of any experience level and gentlemen.
