Champions has been mainstay of the Laval scene for many years. The building looks like an early sixties fast food / take-out joint. You have to buzz into the club and a tip of $3 to the doorman will allow you entry. There is a small stage at the far end of the club, and about 15 - 20 high top and cafe tables. Along one side of the club are a set of stalls, where the lap dances are performed. Each 'corral' has a half curtain which affords some privacy.

There were 5-7 girls working on a Friday night the quality of the girls ranged from 5 to 7's. Many of the girls speak limited English so communication can be inhibited, but the language barrier is often overcome by flashing some green, or whatever color Canadian money is.

Lap Dances are offered in the stalls, they are topless and allow full contact. The rules are no touching of a girls kitty, and no kissing and sucking of nipples. These rules are frequently violated. Each dance is a bargain priced $10.

I stayed for a couple of hours, the atmosphere was relaxed and I enjoyed three sessions with the dancers. Excellent mileage and well worth the detour from the downtown Montreal clubs
