The owners have done a real nice job renovating this place. Of course the renovations come with a price ($5 for a domestic bottle). Now, however, it looks like every other pseudo-upscale gentlemens club, which is fine if this were Atlantic City, but it's Bridgeton. They also appeared to have removed the pool tables, so I figure the owners don't want people treating it like a neighborhood bar where you go to have a few beers and catch a few girls dancing. Girls spend two or three songs on the stage and then find the first guy who will buy them a drink to sit down next to, where they will stay until they get called back to the stage, so there isn't much walking around or customer-interaction by the girls. Pre-renovation, the club (known as 56 West) had better value in both the alcohol and dancer departments.
