I was in Lafayette on business...

I was in Lafayette on business and decided to check out this club. I have driven by it several times thinking someday I'd want to stop by and check it out. Well today was the day I decided I was going to do it. I went in and saw the doorman. He wanted $5 for cover and he wanted to see my ID. When he saw from my ID that I was from out of town he then asked to see a hotel room key. I thought "well this is new" never had this question asked before. When he saw my hotel room key he said. "Go on in" your cover is paid for. Wow I thought free cover for out of town guests "thats pretty neat." I headed up to the bar since it was pretty crowded and got my beer. $3.75 plus I tipped her $1.00. I went up to the stage and sat at the tip rail.
