This is an unfortunate example of a club trying to be too many things for too many different groups of people.

Several reviews have stated that Crazy Horse has embraced Hold 'em Poker - this is still correct. The specifics are they have 3-hr tourneys every Sunday thru Thursday. This seems to create a bit of tension, as the poker-folks don't appreciate the distraction of the dancers. Recently, ownership has also installed quite a few additional televisions, trying for the sports bar vibe as well. Would probably be OK if they had restricted them to portions of the club, but they seemed to have put them everywhere. Alaskan Amber was $5/pint (this is about average for Anchorage).

I was in on a Tuesday evening and found three dancers loosely on shift, as only one actually danced during my visit. I was there for about an hour, and as reported the dancers do seem eager to hustle drinks. Of the three dancers, only one was my type - she did a three-song set of which interestingly all three were nude. Unfortunately, one of the other dancers was chatting me up after she finished, and she was taken for a private dance by another patron which lasted for the duration of my visit.
