Hadn't been to CR in a...

Hadn't been to CR in a while, so last week I decided to check it out. I paid the $5 VIP fee and headed up stairs. It was happy hour so there were drink specials on beer, which was nice. I found a table (there were several available) and decided to survey the VIP scene. It was a short survey. Very few girls upstairs, so I decided to see if the hunting was better downstairs. VIP without a bottle doesn't get you much anyway. So, downstairs I went and set up shop. One thing I'll mention is that this place seems to get dingier by the day. The next world plague will probably originate from one of the chairs at CR. So anyway, I'm sitting in a germ laden chair planning my next shower and looking for something interesting to me. I'm picky with dancers and reject at least 9 out of 10 advances. I didnt have to worry about it, though - I was approached only once (rejected) and watched the room for anything to stroll by or hit the stage. Strike out for me. On this day, no one remotely piqued my interest. I did get another cheap beer, just to give the place a full opportunity to be productive. No such luck. I understand the clubs can be hit or miss, and I'm sure I just hit a bad day or bad time of day, or both. I'll give the place another chance at some point, and who knows, I may hit the mother-lode. It's sorta like fishing (although hopefully without the fish smell) - sometimes you just never know what you'll hook.
