SR has an emotional attachment for me since it is the first strip club that I ever visited many years ago. Despite this, however, I must disagree at least to some extent with the largely glowing reviews that it regularly receives. On the positive side, SR is upscale, it regularly has a large number of very attractive girls, and the lap dances tend to involve significant two way contact. Ordinarily these factors would rate a club fairly high in my book. However, in this instance, I think there are enough negatives to outweigh these considerations. First, SR is ridiculously crowded. I was there on a Tuesday night during the summer (a fairly slow time in Vegas) and it was busting at the seams. It took me 45 minutes to get a seat, and even then I was inches from other patrons most of the night and somebody bumped into me every couple of minutes. Second, while the women here are attractive, it is far too dark to see them well. My awarebess of how dark it is was probably heightened by the fact that I had just left Little Darlings where the lights are on so you can see the naked girls clearly. I will never understand why clubs that make their living from showing off naked women’s bodies think it is too their advantage to make it so dark that its hard to see those bodies. Third, while the girls here are pretty, it looked to me like 90 plus percent had fake tits. This was sometimes hard to fully judge given how dark it was, but from the shape and size I could make out made clearly that bolt ons predominated. If you’re into this, then you may like the place, but that’s not for me. Fourth, the costs of admission and dances are unreasonable. I’m not particularly cost sensitive compared to the average strip club goer, but I did think that SR was overpriced. Finally, the contrast between coming from a fully nude club (Little Darlings) to SR was a compelling one. Topless just doesn’t cut it when there is a place down the street where the girls are fully nude. Granted, the girls at Little Darlings aren’t as pretty, but they are still good looking and they make up for it by giving you the same view that their gynecologist gets under good lighting. LD also has more private, fully nude, two way contact dances, and it costs significantly less. Girls with fake tits in the dark can’t compare in my evaluation.
