Sugars has lost it's identity. This used to be the hot spot in Austin but like all things it's best years are behind it. The crowd has gotten very rough and so with it the dancers. Most of the girls were terminated from other clubs and landed here. I know because most of them are my friends. They have changed management agin so it's hard to say what direction they are headed. For a Saturday night it was very slow. To make matters worse the ladies seemed more interested in drinking and shooting the bull then sitting down with customers and making money. I did get two dances for twenty bucks but only because I had known this young lady from another club. I guess I have just gotten so used to Palazzio that I never would have noticed how bad Sugars has fallen behind. I did manage to get a free drink because I tipped the bartender a ten. I think the mall closing hurt Sugars and because the lack of traffic. I will say that the dances are dirty but they may not be from a girl you would normally pay. I think it's time for Sugars to tear it down and build it back up. This place has been here so long that it is sad to see it this way.
