This was my second visit to the Living Room. I stopped by late afternoon. There was a fairly decent crowd of people inside. The parking lot was fairly full.

I walked in (paid entry fee -- $10?) and sat at the bar to the left. I ordered a drink and hung out for a while. It seemed that most of the dancers were talking to regulars. I sat for awhile without being approached, which is not bad. After 15 minutes, an older dancer sat next to me and we started chatting. She was very nice, had a pretty face, but her body had seen better days. She was in her late 30s. This is usually not a large deterrent for me because they usually give good dances. After sitting for 10 minutes, I decided to get a dance with her. I did one dance, about $20. It was adequate and she was nice, but we ended talking about her other job and finishing up school. She said that she had been working there at least 10 years and was finishing a nursing degree and had already let them know she was quitting. During the dance, all she could do was talk about how happy she was to be getting out of this place. This certainly was not the "fantasy" that you want when getting a dance -- a disgruntled, not very good looking, soon to be ex-stripper, telling you she is happy to be done with this. The funny thing is that it was not terribly negative, just a matter of fact, I am glad to be gone. Anyway, one dance was enough with her.

I went back to the bar and was approached by a younger, more attractive dancer. We went back for a dance, which was OK, not very remarkable. Anyway, despite this review, I still like this place and will give it another try when I am in the area. My last visit was certainly much more fun, but like every club, it depends on who you get.
