I visited Mardi Gras II on...

I visited Mardi Gras II on a Thursday afternoon. When you walk in you are looking straight at the bar with the stage/seats to the left. I later learned the interesting thing that there are two VIP rooms. One to the immediate left for 15 min dances and one on the other side of the bar for longer dances.

I stopped at the bar, got a beer and sat at one of the seats next to the stage. There were about 5 or so girls, I'd rate at about 6 to 8 range. None of which were very enthusiastic. One dancer came over, about a 7, and gave a half harted dance for the dollar I had and then immediately asked if I wanted a private dance. I declined. (a better, more enthusiastic dance may have enticed me, but not this). After she finish her set, another dancer, about a 6 gave a half harted dance and asked for a private dance. I told her I wasn't interested and went over to the bar away from the stage, sat and ordered another beer.

Next to me was a dancer from the NYC area. We talked for a little bit. She was bored to be there, but I got the impression that the private dances may be quite nice. I left because I didn't like the attitudes, but may come back to try the private dances.
