Gave them another chance on a relatively short evening visit. The outside is unchanged. $5 to get in, and a one drink (non-alcoholic) minimum, I bought a bottle of water.

Inside they have spent some money renovating in the past couple of years. Stage lighting is much better (maybe even too much light), and the sound system is much improved. The square stage is still the same semi-sunken setup, with chairs around three sides (except for a two step up to the stage at one corner), mirror wall at the back, and mirrors inside the drink rail as well, leading to direct and indirect views. One pole, and dancers were pretty, pleasant, making the rounds for tips. All in all, for a traditional stage side experience, pretty nude and attentive dancers, all positive.

But the lap dance area, all I can wonder is huh. There's a wall now, but with a probably ten foot wide opening in it, and in a throwback to the 70s, beads on either side from ceiling to floor, leaving a four foot "door" in the middle. Two lap dance couches are just inside the beads, and the light level of the lap dance area is way over the top bright, so you get to see any customer's head and shoulders and the dancer performing for him, from just about anywhere in the club, and I suppose if it's dark outside, as soon as you open the club door as well. Huh.
