I didn't have a lot of time, and I hadn't been to a club in a while, but I'd been wanting to go back to Curves. I printed a nifty free-admission coupon off the website. (Yeah, I'm cheap.) Figured I'd be there 30 minutes, and no-cover would make it easier to leave on schedule.

If I remember, the cover charge was otherwise $5. Maybe it was $10. No problem, the door staff were awesome. Nice bouncers. Hot counter girl. Didn't even make me feel like scum for using a coupon. (This is how it is to have a family... sneaking out and using a coupon to go to a strip club. ;)

Anyway, the club was clean, as remember it. Lots of black lights, standard club music, lots of girls... It was busy, being a Friday and all. "Where do you want to sit, sir?" they asked. "Wherever I'll get the best action," is what my inside voice said. "Somewhere I can get a good view of everything," is what came out. They gave me a good seat in the back, and I ordered a drink. One of the girls walking by pointed to a particular chair and said, "that one's more comfortable." I don't balk at comfortable chair advice from a stripper, so I sat down.
