This is a composite report on 3 afternoon visits over the past two months. Other reviewers have already described the physical aspects of the club, especially the very private VIP dance areas so I won't repeat those details. HC offers drink specials in the afternoon so domestic beers are 2 or 3 dollars/bottle and valet parking is a bargain ($3) compared the other mandatory valet Detroit SCs (typically $7). Thus HC is a good option for a economical stop for an afternoon beer and the food is quite good.

The biggest disappointment has been with the quality and variety of the afternoon dancers. The selection and quality of dancers seems to vary over days of the week with T and Th having more dancers than Monday and Friday. Unfortunately, many of dancers were thick and/or unattractive. On the most recent two visits, I left after one beer and without any VIP dances. I talked briefly to the manager suggesting that the club really needs to recruit some different talent to the afternoon shift. He mentioned that it was difficult to get girls for the afternoon shift for two reasons-- the weather has been very nice (but this will change soon enough--it is Michigan) and that the customer flow has been pretty slow (although this is a chicken and egg problem-- if you recruit more attractive dancers, the customer flow will improve). Overall, this club is worth a visit. Talent can be hit or miss (although better at night than in the afternoon) but if you find the right dancer, you can have a great time in the private VIP areas.
