Based on various recommendations and Atlanta list (thanks shadowcat) made Follies priority visit. Great they are open mid-afternoon, was able to see shift change of day and night dancers. Very solid place overall, comparable to Fuegos in Maryland for Latinas. My preference at Follies was hot, Latina afternoons, wasn't disappointed. Arrived by taxi from downtown hotel, side note: the taxi driver couldn't pick me up afterwards had to arrange for Follies to call another taxi service. The other service was spanish speaking driver, little english, we got along great, but if your spanish isn't good you might be better off asking for regular english speaking driver. The club itself has two sides, each stage has a name - broadwalk or parkplace, something along those lines ?. As suggested by the reviewer I headed for high bar stool chairs along the walls -- all were occupied. I stood around looking goofy, waiting for a patron to finish up to make one of those highly coveted chairs available. I learned later, the dancers prefer it because easier on their legs, better dances and body access is easier from behind, compared to sitting at table or chair. As mentioned $10 bucks a pop for dance, great deal, I believe tops came off, don't recall due to my cationic drunken stupor of strong drinks. ..didn't expect that at all. Even better, none of the waitress nor dancers bugged me to constantly buy drinks, none of the "wanna dance" routine - very cool, spot. seems more suits and tie guys in afternoon, blue collar, da brothers, and latino guys later evening and late at night, plus lots of regulars. I well appreciated the dancer drinks were same price as mine, very nice! I splurged buying drinks every time I got a lap dance, plus generous stage tipping got me very good mileage in a high mileage place. Nice international flavor of girls --which is exactly my speed. Good mix AA, blondes, latinas, did I spot a Persian and Native American in the house ? both seemed intriguing, didn't have time for a dance with them because I was thoroughly smitten with one I thought was Latina with fine ass. She was Romanian, with very attractive ethnic mixture.....we talked about the old city Bucharesti, Cluj while getting sensual LD, VIP, amazing to have well traveled dancers rather than ones that only know Pimpup my house or Jersey Shore. As forewarned the ATM cost at least $5 or $10 fee to access money, the bar was willing to provide cash advance on my credit card - didn't take them up on the offer. Tried out VIP rooms four or five times, definitely worth it with the right dancer. Made sure all my favorites were well taken care of before shift change, got phone numbers, after shift change it seems like two different clubs, more professional dancers, high tempo hustle by a AA ROB -- counting of songs become more blended. The music was very good, from all decades, and genre which helped me tremendously in keeping count. maybe Follies can have car service to hotels like Baltimore clubs.Very good, quality overall experience,as always with reviews YMMV this was my experience over several days visits.
