Had a late dinner down town...
Had a late dinner down town with a friend and stopped in on my way home. The were equal number of dancers and customers sitting at the one stage because that was the only one that was open. When I first sat at the bar there were two bartenders on duty, or at least I thought they were on duty. It took five songs to get get an order from one of them and they were not that busy. I recognized one of them that had worked at the place under former management, not much had changes she usually serves the people she know or the ones that she knows spend money.
I drink top shelf liquor and tip every order, but I guess that is not enough (:-). A couple of ladies sat down and talked for a little but when I mentioned that I had just gotten there and wanted to wait for some dances they were off like a cannon shot.
One young lady did sit and talk for a while all about this being her first night and did not know the rules because she was just hired that afternoon, etc., etc., etc. Finally she has to go on stage. Good thing because next thing Tasha sat down next to me. Said I looked bored talked with the dancer now on stage. Well let me just say after buying Tasha a drink and a couple of dances the night sure picked up.
Later the shot girl, Jenny I think, came around and I bought her a shot. She said she had not seen it that dead on a Thursday in a long, long time and she usually likes working Thursday. Too bad she was not a dancer I would have gotten a couple more dances from her.
