I visited Cheetah twice during an early January business trip to Atlanta. I have been going to the Cheetah for more than 10 years and have always enjoyed my visits there. I arrived at the Cheetah at 8 pm on a Wednesday and dropped my car off for the valet to park. I entered the club which appears to have been recently remodeled in the past year or so. I paid a $10 cover charge and walked past the "VIP" and "Champagne Room" areas and into the main part of the club.

The main room of Cheetah has two long dance areas that front the bar areas. There is a large stage that is partially surrounded by a restaurant area (you cannot sit there unless you are having lunch or dinner). I took a seat at the bar near one of the 'runway' stages. I paid $5-6 for beers (imported brands) from one of the two bartenders.

One thing that seems to have changed since my last visit is that Cheetah now requires its patrons to tip the girls on stage $10 to get topless and $20 (!) to get nude. I think this is a ripoff - never before have I seen fully clothed (i.e., prom dress type clothing) dancers go through a set of three songs without as much as removing their top. Even when a few guys tip a dollar or two, as long as it didn't add up to $10, the dancers wouldn't remove their tops (let alone get nude). I found this incredibly boring and hinting of a remarkable way to piss off its customers.
