Flashdancers is located in Midtown Manhattan...

Flashdancers is located in Midtown Manhattan within walking distance of Times Square. Its location is probably one of the best things it has going for it. The club is located in the basement and costs $20 for cover. The bar takes about half the area with an oddly shaped stage occupying most of the other half. There are usually 3-4 girls dancing simultaneously on the main stage. There is a small second stage which fits one dancer, and I believe usually a topless girl prancing around the bar. The place was pretty dark, even for a stripclub, and looks a bit on the dingy side. I believe they also have food here but heard a dancer disparage it. Drinks are on the expensive side and north of $10.

The girls are generally Eastern European with a few African American and Asians also. They were mostly above average, but no real 10's. They generally weren't too talkative and wouldn't go beyond the lap dance solicitation.

One observation was aside from the drinks this place is a pretty good value. Dances are only $20 and you can sit at the stage with no mandatory tip. Also it doesn't seem like there are that many big spenders. Many of the girls seemed to have never gone to the champagne room before. One dancer that caught my eye was an aggressive blond Ukrainian with big hair.
