I worked here for awhile. I wasn't very happy about it. Firstly, on weeknights you usually only saw 8-15 customers, with an equal number or more of dancers on shift. Shifts start at 6pm but customers rarely come in until 8, even if they do come in before 8 you can't do lapdances until 8 [explained later]. They will also close early. They wait for 3 customers to come in before sending any dancers on stage, which is sometimes good but they don't break it even if 2 guys are ready to tip or there are 4 guys and no one is tipping.

Layout is awful. Almost all the seats are at the bar, with a pool table in the middle. For dancers, there isn't a bathroom of any sort connected to the dressing room, so treks back and forth are annoying, plus female customers in bathroom isn't something I'm fond of.

You can't do lapdances at Madam Oar's, you have to go down to Tzers - yes, outside, in front of several store fronts. You pay your tipout by lapdance so there really isn't a way to get around this, and they don't like dancers to only spend time with customers in the bar. Your value to the club is how many lapdances you do.

Dances are $20, one song, paid to the club upfront and dancer keeps half. Most of the dancers ask for a $10-20 tip on top of that, up front. If you come in Mon-Wed cover is $10 and you get a free lapdance ticket, expect to tip then too. Once or twice customers have negotiated for a half-hour in the lapdance booth, $200. If you're doing a bachelor party there is a good deal, to drag the bachelor up on stage and such is two girls, $75, for ten minutes.
