I went to Dancer’s Show Club on a Thursday evening. It is on the west side of Indianapolis on US 40, near the Indianapolis Airport. The area seems to be safe; the parking lot is monitored by a dozen cameras. The cover charge was $7. The club has a mobster theme to it (see the murals on the walls). There is a large rectangular bar on the west side of the club. The east side of the club is full of tables and booths surrounding three round stages situated in a triangle. All three stages are the same with a pole in the center of each. During the afternoon and early evening only one will be in use, but by peak hours, all three will have dancers on them. A bottle of domestic beer was $4.50, while imported/specialty bottles were $5.25. Tap beer was $4.25. Tap beer consisted of Budweiser, Bud Light, and Amber Bock. Cigars are available for sale here if that is your thing. The restrooms were so-so—not the cleanest I’ve encountered, but not the dirtiest either. Around 8 or 9pm, a bathroom troll started working in there. The waitresses were helpful, yet not too pushy—a plus.

I am not one for eating in strip clubs, but this place has probably the best food I have ever encountered in a peel joint. There is a full service kitchen with a decent sized menu, which are displayed beneath the glass on the tables. The prices are very reasonable, and you will not get food-poisoning like I did once eating BBF’s poor excuse for food. The kitchen is run by a local chef that got out of the business but practices his craft at the strip club for fun, or so I was told. The kitchen stays open until 11pm Monday-Wednesday and until 1am Thursday-Saturday. The USDA Choice steaks are at the same price you’d pay at a Texas Roadhouse. Seriously, give it a try.

A regular lap dance in a semi-private booth is $20. It sounds like some girls are trying to hustle guys into paying $25, so don’t fall for that shit. The booths in the lap dance area are situated in a large rectangle around a huge fish tank. Contact was two-way, at least for me, and value seemed to be fair for the price. There is a VIP room called the Goodfella’s Room that was quoted at a high price, I think $200 per half hour. I got the impression it would yield the same type of service as one got in the lap dance booths, only uninterrupted and a little more privacy. The Goodfella’s Room is curtained off from the rest of the club.
