Recent business trip through Atlanta. After reading comments on TUSCL I decided to give Follies a try. The club itself is not special -- definitely not an upscale place. The bar is in the middle with dancing on a stage to the left. A pool table with couches immediately to your left as you walk in. To the right you can sit at tables which is where I planted myself. VIP area is just of this area as well. Anyway, I arrive on a Monday evening around 9:30. A mix of dancers...black, white and hispanic. A couple 8s, but nothing better than that. The girls are not pushy at all and no pressure to get dances. I had dances from several girls while sitting at my table. Some stick shifting from some girls and others nothing at all. Finally, found the girl I wanted to try VIP with and inquired for more details. She smiled and indicated she did not partake in any extra activities -- give her credit for her honesty, but it wasn't the answer I was looking for. Several girls sat at another table nearby and were working their phones furiously. None of them ever approached and I wasn't about to interrupt their texting.

This place is very regular friendly and I'm not a regular, so dancer were not paying much attention to me. They were very busy with their regulars and everyone seemed to know each other. It must have been the night (Monday), but the girls were not as impressive as I had hoped and never found another girl I was interested in visiting VIP with, so I left. I'd go back, but probably on a different night/time. The staff was friendly and drink prices were OK. Oh, it is a smoking place which really sucked. After checking out a few other spots in Atlanta I realize this is the norm.
