4Play is near the top of...

4Play is near the top of my short list of good LA clubs. It is located in a decent neighborhood,, has valet parking, and is very safe and upscale. While the quality of the women varies, there are often some exceptionally hot ones. Some of the most beautiful women I have ever seen naked in person were at this club. The girls get fully nude on stage and show everything they've got as long as you tip them. If you find the right girl the bed dances upstairs are great and worth the money. There are also several cheaper lap dance options, but I've found everything but the bed dances to be not worth the money.

My only complaint about this club is that some of the girls often try to rip you off. I've seen this over and over again, sometimes multiple times on the same night, so these are not isolated occurrences. What happens is that once you go the separate room for a lap dance, they spend half the song trying to get you to pay extra for full contact dances. Even after we agree to terms, I've had girls try to renegotiate again during the dance. Be very careful if you are a strip club newcomer as they will quickly take all of your money. You must do all of the negotiations before any dance begins, preferably before you enter the lap dance area. As usual, never accept general assurances of a good time, but insist on specifics. I've not seen this issue with the more expensive bed dances, but it is very common in my experience with the lap dances. Otherwise a great club in a city that doesn't have a lot of good choices.
