So I recently read Letter to the strip clubs from a young black man and it totally makes me think about my experience here at this club. I'm out with some coworkers because a fellow coworker is getting married soon. We start off at the Lakepointe Yacht Club which turns out to be a tease. Were like lets go see some real titties. We all decide to go to Flight Club thinking that was the best quality club nearest to us. All together their is like eight of us. We ride in separate cars. I end riding by myself because I need to stop by the bank before joining them at the club. When I get to the Flight Club my buddies already have a table and a round of beers. Initially, I pay the cover and go into the club. Then the waitress comes to me and says the bouncer says I can't be in the club because I have flip flops on. I'm with eight other guys six of the eight guys I'm with have flip flops on. I mention to the guys I'm with that I can't get in because I'm black (no because I have flip flops on) they all get up to leave and the bouncer says he'll allow me to wear flip flops this time. I had on beach flip flops and my buddies had on a different type of flip flops. Bull shit. Anyway, we had a good time despite the racism towards me. As far as the club goes the club was beautiful. I didn't get any dances but a couple of my buddies and took them downstairs and extras were offered. I'm not quite sure why everyone is so hype on this club. The women were alright. Of course they looked better than Bogarts right across the street. Flight Club felt like a cash pit to me. I know one my buddies brought like $500 with him and he part took in the extras. His wallet was significantly lighter after he left. All in all we had a good time and they did a stage show for the bachelor where every stripper came did a lap dance for him. They took his shirt off and tried to take his pants off and spanked him. He enjoyed his self and I guess that all that really matters. For me this place is overrated and I'm not sure I'll ever go back.
