The Landing Strip has been well...

The Landing Strip has been well known in the area for quite sometime. I had been there once before for a bachelor party many years ago. The club has changed substantially since then. I am writing this review a couple of weeks after my visit. LS has valet parking and is located in downtown Romulus, a pretty safe looking area.

You enter the club and have to go out a flight of stairs to the bar and dance area. I don't recall what the cover was, but there was a cover. Anyway, upstairs it is a long rectangular room with the bar at one end, the stage in the middle and seats on either side. The club was empty essentially when I got in. There were six other people in the club and very few dancers around. I sat down and ordered a drink. The waitstaff was prompt, but nothing exceptional.

After a few minutes, I was approached by one of the dancers. She sat down and we began to talk. After talking to her for a short time, I learned that the club was pretty quiet that day. There were too many girls on the shift with too few patrons (where all the other dancers were was anyone's guess. I only saw 2-3). Anyway, the dancer was under 21, so she declined my offer for a drink. She was nice, not great looking, about a 6-7, but not bad either. After talking for about 20 minutes, we decided to head downstairs for a dance.
