This place is definitely a bit...

This place is definitely a bit grungy - it's not very clean, the ceilings are low - it's a dive and not the kind that you love for its diviness, but the kind that makes you wish there were a better club within 15 miles. That said, there isn't. In addition to its lack of class, it is not cheap. Laps are 40 and shower shows are 50 and the ladies expect (and occasionally demand) to be tipped on stage. Anyway, I stopped in on a Thursday night a few weeks ago. At first, I was put off by the place: the second dancer who came on stage after I sat down was openly hostile to the guys at the rail who weren't tipping and waved at the DJ to stop the music and quit her dance early. Being the only guy at the stage who had tipped, and well, I couldn't help but feel a bit slighted. But whatever: I like chicks with attitude, and there were quite a few hot naked girls on the scene, so I stayed long enough to figure the joint out.

The girls at the Poodle are generally good looking - of the 8 or so on duty that evening, three were downright hot (7-9 range) and the rest were passable (5-6). And then, though it costs more than it should and arguably more than it's worth, there's the major reason to go to the Poodle - the shower show. When you walk into the shower show area one of the first things you notice is the sign that says there is to be no contact between dancers and customers. Happily, this is just for show. With pretty minimal prior negotiation, I had already agreed to contact, and the very pretty girl who'd taken me to the show gave me a few good minutes of my hands all over (and in) her gorgeous body before asking me if she could play with my dick. Or rather, she said, "stand up and unzip those pants," to which request I of course happily complied. She filled her palm with lotion and went to work, making one happy customer a bit happier in no time at all.

So, there you have it: if you're down for a scummy club that serves no booze and want a 75 dollar hand job (after tip), I can highly and enthusiastically recommend the Poodle. If that's not your style, the place has very little to recommend it other than that it's the only club in town.
