It has been about six months...

It has been about six months since I last visited the Astro. I have visited the Astro several times over the last four years. The interior hasn't changed much since the first time I visited. The experience has varied from visit to visit as with any club depending on the dancers. The Astro always seems to have different girls coming from SLC and other places. It is a small space with loud music. Usually quite smokey with a constant light show dancing through the smoke. There is a DJ that plays the standard rythmic club music. The thing I like about the Astro is the girls usually seem to be willing to crawl down from the stage and give a mini lap dance for a couple bucks and if I like their style there is a loosely observed dark corner with lounge chairs for a nice lap dance - $20, they usually offer you a "better" lap dance for $40 with "touching" but most girls get plenty intimate for a lap dance for the standard $20. Like I said, it's been a while since I've been there but it's been a pretty consistent experience over the years as I have visited occasionally.
