Was in this area (where I used to live) over the past 10 days, and used this web site to identify potential locations. Keepers was the first one I selected. I went in around 10:30 on a Wednesday night (Dec 29). Could tell from the parking lot that there was a good crowd. The previous review by ctclubs is a bit misleading regarding the make up of the stage. Rather than saying that it is made up of small tables, a better description would be: "a large stage, cut into 6 pieces by narrow walkways the bartenders can walk through to serve customers from the stage side of the stage". The resulting stages are still good size, varying in size from maybe 4 by 8 ft to 8 by 12 ft.

They had 4 dancers dancing at any one time, two switching stages on one end, the other two on the other end. Quality was mainly in the 6 - 8 category, with a few weirdos. There was a pretty brisk business going to the VIP area. Although I was there for 1 1/2 hours, not one of the dancers approached me. Two guys sitting next to me almost seemed to take turns going back there. Since they went back several times (with different dancers, I think), they must have been having a good time. Length of songs / length of VIP dances was generous, by my west coast standards. I didn't time, but estimate at 4 - 5 minutes on average.

Decided to try it another night. Went on Tuesday evening, Jan 4, about same time. Place was dead. 4 or 5 dancers, maybe 8 customers. Had a ld from one of the dancers I had met in my previous visit. Was disappointed. Rule is that the customer can not touch the dancer's boobs, but dancer can touch customer.

Tried another dancer, who was a bit freer, but still wasn't what I had expected. Got a tip from another customer about another club in Bridgeport (not Ruby's II) that the rules in B'port are far more lenient, and that this club was his favorite. Tried it the next night. He was right.
