I was in Charlotte for a meeting and had a few hours to kill in the afternoon and decided to check out Uptown Cabaret. I'd been there before but only late on weekend nights. It's really nice layout and its obvious the club is shooting for that upscale feel. There were about the same number of customers as dancers; probably 10 or so of each and the dancer talent was pretty good for an afternoon. There was always a girl on the stage while I was there. The waitress was really friendly and several girls came by to chat as well. I partook in a couple dances with one of them, which were good but nothing spectacular. All in all it was a good way to burn a few hours during the afternoon, however I could definitely see dropping a lot of money in this place.
