Dollie’s is relatively easy to find, if you take 5 minutes to study a map in advance. The parking look is a large, gravely space with a bright light beaming from the front door. The door man, who collects anywhere from a $2-4 entry fee, steps outside frequently (I assume to keep an eye on the cars). As you stand inside the front door, the bar is to the right, 3 bead covered booths are to your left, and the “floor” is ahead. The floor consists of 3 or 4 “stations” with a 3 foot elevated stage, some have poles. It is quite common for the dancers to jump off the stage and into your lap where pleasant conversations can be had. Drink prices at the bar are in line with the market. I would suggest bottled beverages just to be on the safe side.

Yes, this place is a dump. I’m not sure how many more years that building will make it before the roof caves in. The chairs….well, some are lacking structural support. I think buying some new chairs, even *newer* used chairs could take the Physical Club rating up 2 points. Given the current Physical Club rating around 4ish, that would be a 50% increase!

As has been noted in previous posts, the quality of dancers can be a crapshoot (During my visit quality ranged from zero to 6). High dancer turnover wouldn’t be the right word to describe the cause of the dice game, as there are some dancers that have been there WAAYY to long (one mentally wasted girl stated she had worked there for 8 years….yikes!). The dancer I selected for a lap dance indicated to me that she drove up from Memphis. She was a veteran, mentioned that she used to work at Club O in Chicago, and provided a very clean and pleasant experience. I think Dollie’s attracts a lot of “temps” which is nice for those who like variety.

Dollie’s is a nice in-and-out place. Value is through the possibly leaky roof if you know what you want. If you plan on visiting with some friends and staying a while, be prepared for a vicious fight against the FUGLIES early on. They do not take “no thank you” very well; expect some crude remarks in return.
