Stopped into the the Clermont last...

Stopped into the the Clermont last week and enjoyed the visit. This place is a classic that everyone should visit at least once. It is a true hole in the wall but everyone there was very friendly. It was 95 degrees outside but the club and the beer were nice & cold.

The club is in the basement behind an old hotel. Very strange parking lot is down a steep driveway - it does not seem like you're going to a club.

There was no cover charge, and drinks were $4-5. There were three ladies working (plus a wonderful barmaid). That was plenty, as there was only about 3-4 patrons in the club. The ladies are at least in their 40's, and have seen better days. But the dancing was non-stop and they all had a great attitude. Fun to watch them carefully dance on a bar completely full of liquor bottles.
