I visited Gentleman's Club 10 after...

I visited Gentleman's Club 10 after about a year away, and I'll likely not return unless they have an entry special of some sort. Last year they had free entry leading up to the NFL football season. That's what it's gonna take for me to go back. A local newspaper survey almost always puts this club at the top, but I just don't get it.

I'm sort of put off by the pretentiousness of the club, which isn't backed up by the quality of entertainers. The entrance is plain silly. Here's the entrance sequence: Hand over your ID to be scanned (which is new and disliked by me), place your arms out for a pat down, take one step and pay the $15 cover, take two more steps and purchase a $1 cup, turn right and walk to the cooler storage area. Really? Is all that necessary for the Wilkes-Barre area? Maybe they've had problems there late at night, but they should choose another path if they're merely trying to emulate clubs in larger cities.

The quality of dancers was iffy at best. One dancer had previously danced nearby at The Grandview, and she was among the best. A new addition to the club was a lotion show, which was two women on a towel rubbing lotion over each other. There weren't many people to see the show other than a fairly large wedding group. I didn't stay long, so there isn't much more to report. Maybe your experience will be better.
