After researching clubs for a two day trip to San Diego, we chose Cheetahs based on reveiws elsewhere. We were going to go later in the evening, but we happened to be in the neighborhood, and well, you know how it is. So in we go, paying $8 each even though we had no membership cards. There were two very cute girls sitting by the door greeting us since the club was pretty empty of customers, and after some friendly banter about Cheetahs being "adult disneyland" in we went. They have a stage in the middle of the room, with seats all around it, with small tables spread around the rest of the room with comfy chairs and a long couch on the wall. There is a bar, but no alchohol of course. About two seconds after we sat down a gorgeous blond waitress, way overdressed compared to the rest of the women, took our order for Cokes.

OK, the good bits. The songs are shortened, maybe two minutes. Each girl takes her turn on the stage, dancing with various levels of skill and motivation on the pole for the first one in costume, then getting naked for the second. If you like the gyno thing, then sit by the stage. For me, I sat a little bit away trying to leave at least a small amount to my imagination. The rest of the girls, when they aren't dancing, circulate around the club trying to get you to go in to the back with them. The girl who was just on stage, after she "dresses" hits everyone in the place up for a dollar. Not sure why, but hey, she just showed me her goods, it seems worth a buck.

Oh, the girls. For the late afternoon on a Wednesday I was *very* impressed. Sure, there were the usual sort of used up looking ones, with too many tatoos and little metal things for my taste. But I would say of the maybe 20 girls in there at least 6-8 were true lookers, and a couple were in the 9 range. You get to inspect them pretty closely when they come try and get you to go to the back, and I was pretty happy having them on my lap, even if I didn't pay.
