I stopped in for the Summer...

I stopped in for the Summer Luau party Saturday. I'm not usually big on these kind of theme parties, but my current favorite was working a rare weekend shift, and I came in to keep her company. It was actually pretty fun. The dancers and bartenders/waitresses worn cute Hawaiian themed outfits, and the club put out a surprising good Hawaiian buffet and offered tropical drink specials.

As others have noted, the club's made changes to the lap dance and VIP areas. The lap dance room is now an open area with two long couches. You can expect a decent one-way grind from your dancer, but not too much else. For more mileage, you need to go VIP. They put partitions in what used to be the large VIP room, so now it's a semi-private area used for the 15-minute ($100) mini-VIPs.

At the rear of the lap dance area they added two “Champagne" Rooms. I've never actually bought any champagne, just used them for the 30-minute ($200) VIP. The rooms look small from the outside, but once inside you realize there's plenty of room for you and your dancer. The rooms are nicely done up with a comfortable couch that makes for an intimate setting and the door gives privacy. You can get very good mileage here, especially if you've gotten to know your dancer over a few visits. As always, YMMV.
