Club Rouge is nestled on downtown...

Club Rouge is nestled on downtown Richmond. The area seems a bit sketchy, and the outside of the club seems rather cheesy with purple fluorescent lighting. The inside of the club is actually nice. The music isn’t extremely loud, and they play a wide variety of hits, so there is sure to be something for everybody. The food was on point. Word on the street is that the guy who owns Rouge also has a restaurant. If this is true, then I’m sure this is why the food was delectable to be in a strip club. The vibe of the club wasn’t as upbeat and fun as I had hoped, but I will get into that later when I talk about the dancers. Overall, it was a nice clean looking club on the inside.

The dancers were a little boring. They didn’t seem to have any enthusiasm at all and they were all just average looking females. I don’t know if it was because this is the off season being summer and the regulars are gone or what. One girl approached me for a lap dance, but she had such lack of sex appeal that I politely declined. As far as the dancers as a whole, a few of them knew how to work the pole. I would suggest that you don’t go to club rouge expecting to be blown away. It’s just a nice place to go if you can’t make it to a club further out of the city. Also, remember this is a pasty club, so you shouldn’t expect to see too much!

I would definitely visit the club again. I can’t wait to see what it has in store once the college cuties come back.
