I've been to enough clubs to appreciate Torps all the more. We all know it's about the almighty dollar, but many of the dancers come across as more sweet and less money hungry. I really like the lap dance area since it's semi-private (less distraction from others in the room) and the bouncers are pretty cool (I usually tip them too). It's easier to have a good time.

Like most clubs these days, the dancers tend to be Russian or Brazillian and slender, but there is sometimes enough of a mix to make it interesting. They tend to range from "cute" to a couple downright "gorgeous." Given the tough economy, the place isn't as crowded these days and the girls are a little more dollar-hungry, but they're still mostly friendly and will chat with you over a drink. It's still less "rushed" than with other clubs.

The bar tenders hustle and the staff overall are nice. The decor isn't overly "posh" but it's not sleezy-feeling either. Plenty of pool tables too.
