I hadn't been to the Gas in many years when I stopped in a few days ago. They,ve made a few changes in recent years, but the overall club feel has remained the same. The cover wasn't too bad compared to other clubs I have been. I was there in the early evening, around 8 or so. There was a decent crowd but you could still score a spot at the stage/bar. There is much more contact at this club than any other I,ve been to. The dancers circle the stage and if you like to put down a couple bucks, they'll give you a decent show. Its not uncommon to have the ladies throw their legs over your shoulders or straddle you right at the bar. Lapdances can get pretty good. The dancers allow roaming hands to some extent, depending on the girl of course. I wouldn't hesitate to stop by the Mardi Gras if you are in town!
