I was up in the area...

I was up in the area in early June and decided to make the drive over on a Tuesday. Turns out they are only open Wednesday through Saturday, so that didn't work out too well for me. I returned on Wednesday evening and walked in and payed the cover and bought a drink. This club could definitely use some interior work, but then again it is pretty much in the middle of nowhere. There were 4 girls on shift (a 5th that never danced and left I guess), 2 black girls and 2 white girls. It was hot as hell inside, but it was hotter outside. The stage dances were ok, for a Wednesday there were about 6-10 guys throughout the night. Unfortunately, there were at least 2 of their boyfriends there - which the club regulars knew and left everybody else in the club know about it. Turned me off from getting any private dances, and since the two dancers who I would have got a dance from both had their boyfriends there I can't give any info on that. All in all it was a so-so trip. The drinks were strong at least, maybe the weekends would be better?

After I finished up there I went to the little shack (a strip club also) across the road (which the bartender and baron's told me was a little sketchy). It was much more crowded and had about 8 girls, but with 20 bar stools and 15 patrons it was pretty packed. I sat at the stage for a hot dancer, and she offered a private for $25, and I took her up on it purely to see where the private dance room was. Turns out it was a closet with a bar chair and a light that was a foyer into the back storage room. Cement walls, cement floors. All-around tacky. The dance itself was mediocre and to top it off we got interrupted 3 times. Once by another dancer sticking her head in, once by the bartender looking for more booze and finally by another dancer who came in and started to shoot the shit with the girl dancing for me. I called it quits, left and went home...only to find fake tan shit all over my clothes. I should have listened to the bartender at barons...Not really sure what to make of this place. Perhaps a local/regular could give more info...

I'd be willing to give baron's another try maybe - but I won't be foolish enough to cross the road again. Talk about a waste, at least from the experience on this trip.
