I was at Cowboy's in late...

I was at Cowboy's in late October (sorry for the late review) during racing season. After reading about this place here for a couple of months, I was looking forward to it. Unfortunately it didn't live up to it's reputation, at least the night I was there. There weren't many exceptional dancers, mostly average and more than their share of chunkies. Plus it was just too bright for a SC and was a bit too "cowboy" for my taste. Of course, I'm not a native of Lex. or KY, so I'm probably not the best judge. At least it was crowded and boisterous - nothing worse than a half-empty SC with guys sitting around with raincoats on their laps!

I'll rate it a 6 on the chance I caught a slow night.
