the strip club scene in the elyria can't get much worse! the restrictive ohio laws have really taken their toll here.

i used to love the brass pole, had some great times here, but they're all just a distant memory.

i stopped in on a friday and paid the five dollar admission and was greeted by a quiet bar with no music playing and nobody on stage. how the hell can they have the gall to actually have a cover charge for this? i was already inside so i figured i'd have a beer and see how tings played out. big mistake, i should have just demanded my cover back and left. there were only 4 or 5 dancers(?), none above a 5 rating and most wore robes and just sat at the bar talking among themselves. after awhile the dj prodded one to go on stage and she gave a weak version of a dance, mainly standing there looking in the mirror. never took anything off and after one song she stepped down and was replaced by another. this one took off her top to reveal her pasties and that was it.

i spoke with one of the girls, the brass pole is no longer full nude, just thong and pasties now. she didn't try to sell me any dances which was fine by me because there's no way i'd pay 20 dollars for a no contact camera watched thong and pastie dance when i used to get full nude/full contact dances plus more for that price.

what was once my favorite club is now off my radar, good bye brass pole!
