We chose The Pony for a bachelor party, and were not disappointed. Most of the girls are probably in the 6-8 range, at least for my taste. The club itself is comfortable and reasonably clean. Its not the nicest I've ever seen (average decor and lighting), but compared to the rest of the strip clubs in Memphis, you could do a lot worse. The girls were friendly without being pushy, which was a little surprising considering when a group of guys come in for a bachelor party, most dancers see nothing but dollar signs. The music was good, and at a reasonable volume. The only thing I don't like, in any club, is the bathroom attendant. I know they're probably trying to appear to have a more upscale atmosphere, but it's uncomfortable, and I personally don't think you've earned a tip by just handing me a paper towel. One big plus for us was that they allow cigar smoking. I realize some people may not like it, but i enjoy it. Overall, I like the pony and will probably be back. I miss the days of full nude private dances, but it's still enough fun being only topless to make me come back for more. These days the selection of clubs in Memphis with a low thug factor is dwindling, but everything about the pony was reasonably comfortable and non-threatening, from both the dancers and other employees to the other clientele.
