Visited: Tuesday Evening

I've been to IR a few times in the past year and a half, but haven't submitted a review. The times I've been there, it's been all over the place, from so crowded that I walked out without even managing to get a drink, let alone a dance, to rather scary with the thugs, drug dealers and wannabes taking over the place, to almost deserted. This visit, on an early Tuesday evening, was pretty middle of the road.

The place is kind of seedy and the furnishing have seen better days; "low rent" is the term I'd use. The club is small, and they'll keep letting people in until it's practically overflowing. Very smokey; even when it's not that busy you can smell it. But the drinks are reasonable. (I got a beer, handed the bartender a $5 and told her to keep the change.) And at $10, the price for the full-contact-and-perhaps-more lap dances can't be beat. The problem is finding a dancer you want to take for a dance. During less busy times, there are a lot of 4s and 5s. During busy times, the better-looking girls are all engaged and some of them seem to be drawn to the thugs. I'm normally attracted to Asian girls, but most of the Asians (Filipinas?) I've seen here look pretty rough.

Decent sized crowd when I walked in around 7PM, and more girls than I expected. Watched the girls on stage for awhile and the majority of them had no business showing skin in public. The low range here is LOW. I think they'll hire anyone who walks in. A couple of really heavy girls. If that's your thing, to each his own. Girls run the gamut: white American girl-next-door, black with big booties, Asian, Hispanic. One of the heavy black dancers gave me a hard sell, even hinting at OTC. Pass. Then she asked me for a tip. For what?
