I hadn't been back to Blue...

I hadn't been back to Blue in many months, and the last time I was here, one of my regular dance partners warned of a crackdown by management on some of the shenanigans that -- let's face it -- are the reason EB has been a favorite of a lot of us. But I was in the neighborhood early this evening, stopped in, and am happy to report that the only noticeable difference is that they now charge a $5 cover before 7:00. Everything else, good and bad, was pretty consistent: hot women to please every taste (in fact, fewer plus sizes than has often been the case), cold beer, new soft armchairs in the private dance room, gangsta music in a mostly white bar (why is that so in so many clubs?), and I'm sorry to say, the usual toxic restroom. I sat back to enjoy the ministrations of Ruby, a strawberry blonde Brazilian with potential, and then was reunited with an old fantasy, Lisa, an astoundingly thin African American with a kissable mouth and delightful personality, whom I hadn't seen in at least a year. Needless to say, I left after a fulfilling reunion.
