Went down to my old stomping...

Went down to my old stomping grounds at Heartbreaker's last night. Things were slow, probably less than a dozen customers there counting me, and from what I could gather, that's been the norm of recent. The main part of the club seems to be finished, and there is now a rail around the stage, though "finished" might be a stretch. Supposedly one of the poles came loose on a dancer while she was doing her routine the day before I visited. She was lucky, as my source said she was on the stage, trying to twirl herself around the pole when the bottom came out of the stage itself. The rail itself looks like it was made out of scrap 2X4's, very rough in appearance and I'm none too sure how strong. Decided to try out the new talent for a private dance and found out that the club has redone their policy on dances. It used to be that 'private' dances were always fully nude, and the price was $35/song, with 3 for $100. Now, they offer a $20/song topless dance, and you have to ask specifically for a fully-nude dance. It also seems as though the 3 for $100 is gone, replaced with what I was informed was a $125 for 15 minutes deal. Getting in the back let me see that the booth are still not completed, with light levels in them varying from better than the main area to almost too dark to see. As for the dances, I chose one dancer who looked good on stage, but once in the back, turned out to be more than a bit 'past-prime'. The up side was she gave a fairly energetic dance, lots of grind and "motion". The down side was that she was (along with the other dancer) very specific about me following the 'no titties, no kitty' rule to the letter. The second dance, from another visiting dancer, was with Loren (or Lauren, not sure how it's spelled), a decent-looking black dancer. Hers was more of a 'let's get up close' type of dance than a 'I want to take a long, hard ride' one. Nice, just a bit different than what I'm used to. Both women had me setting on the bench, as opposed to the usual place in the chair. This let me note that, once you're in the back, the guy who watches the entrance to the private area doesn't come back much at all to check on what's happening, only to see if you and the dancer are done with your business. What's my impression? The place is still a work in progress, though if they make the change to mainly 'topless only' private dances, Heartbreaker's will loose a lot of the appeal it's had for me. I also need to find out if the policy change on multiple-dance prices is official, or just something the visiting dancers had a greed to among themselves. So, someday, I'll be paying them another visit, if only to find out what's happening next.
