After reading all of the reviews, I decided to visit Adelita's when I was in SD on business/vacation. I went on a Friday night about 10 p.m. There are plenty of parking lots available, my suggestion is to park in the $2/hour lot if you are not going to be there more than 3 hours. Otherwise any parking lot will work. I walked across the border and caught the $5 cab to Adelita's.

I walked in and found a seat at the bar facing the stage. There are guys going around constantly cleaning around the place and everyone was having a great time. The first girl dancing on stage was hot I'd say a 9. I was just getting settled in and had struck up a conversation with a guy sitting next to me who has been a regular for five years. After her set, this dancer came by everyone sitting at the bar looking for tips. I did not like that. If I want to tip a dancer, I will go up to the stage and tip her. She was not happy with us and scolded all of us who did not tip her in Spanish. Made me even more happy I didn't tip her. As long as you don't mind being hounded for tips, sit at the bar if you can find a seat. You can assess a lot while sitting there to see what you might want.

There were girls of various sizes and looks (good and not so good) all around and they just stood around. I had a few give me looks as though they wanted me to come over, but no one approached me while I sat at the bar. There were a couple that I considered talking to, but I wanted to wait and see what else was available.

In my conversation with the regular, he said most will charge $60 to go upstairs, but you can negotiate with some for $30-40 for the same FS. Keep that in mind the next time you go.

After he left, I started to walk around to see what else was available. As I walked around, I started to garner a little more attention. I got felt up and a couple of girls tried to grab my arm to stop me, but they were not my type and I just gave them a polite nod and continued to move on.
