It's been a few years since...

It's been a few years since I've been to Blue Rose, but as it only has one review right now (and it's one of my personal favorite clubs in the world) I thought I'd write a few lines. The club is small, and expensive (I'll get that out of the way up front!). However, it's very nicely decorated, the staff are very friendly/professional and if you're willing to play the part (i.e. spend some money) I always felt well treated.

It's a pretty simple format - they have a single stage, with chairs around and some bar tables behind those. There a some semi-private booths up some stairs to the left of the stage for lap dances (including one larger booth for couples/groups). Girls are (were?) uniformly white, European, and hot. A number of Brits, Spaniards and other nationalities - the kinds of girls you'd see (and ogle!) on the beach, but now naked and in your face!

Girls take turns dancing three songs on stage, going from dressed to topless to nude by the last song. There are poles and some get quite athletic. You can tip from the stage but it doesn't always get you much attention. If you sit further back girls who aren't dancing will circulate asking for more tips (and if you're sitting on a high bar stool can get quite grindy right there). They'll also be suggesting the lap dances which are usually great - I've had some of the best ever there. Not always huge amounts of contact/grinding, but amazing looking girls, decent music and a hot atmosphere can make it all pretty overwhelming!
