We visited Atlantis on Saturday, July 2nd, arriving at approximately 11 PM. This was our first visit to the club and as always we were dressed nicely - dress slacks and dress shirt for the male and club wear dress showing lots of cleavage for the female. Since it was our first visit, we wanted them to know that we had $$ to drop so we paid the $10 each cover with a $100 bill. Usually, when we do this at a first-time club, we are treated to a tour of the facility or at least an explanation of how the dances/rooms and VIP options work. Not so at Atlantis. This was very surprising to us because the other clientel we observed outside and once inside the club had on shorts and junky attire. Obviously, we were there to spend some dough but no one was really interested in showing us what our options were for how to spend it. We were asked when we paid the cover if it was our first time so this was really a shocker.

The parking lot is well lit and there is valet parking available for $5 but not manditory. On a busy night, it would be easy to see how it would be necessary though to use the valet because parking space in the lit areas is limited. The area in which the club is located is industrial and, despite a previous review to the contrary, the club itself feels safe. It should be noted, however, that directly west of the club is a sketchy area and someone coming from the west on Rt 30 itself will go through several pretty rough towns. For those coming off of 394, it is safe - just go left when you come off the exit ramp and you will be fine.

The exterior of the club is exactly as it appears on the company website. It is well lit and definitely one of the classiest clubs we have been to from the exterior shot alone. Once inside, the club was clean and had posh seating with ample spacing between the tables and seats. The club was less than 25%b full when we arrived and remained that way for our entire time there. It should be noted that we left while it was still early so that may have changed later in the evening. There are three stages and despite the near empty club management did have all three stages in action. The lighting system was top of the line Las Vegas style lighting but at times, the performers used the very back of the stage which made it hard to see them. There were also large TV screens featuring sports when we were there which we found distracting and took away from the ambiance. One of the big screens featured vague information about upgrading one's experience to VIP but this was never explained by staff or the DJ even during the promotion dance.
