This was my first trip to...
This was my first trip to The Candy Shop, arriving mid afternoon on a Monday. I've been to Pinups and Babes and this club compared well to both. The mileage is higher than Babes and the dances longer than Pinups. It is in an industrial area just off I75, so it's safe and easy to get to. Parking is free. I arrived before 5pm, so no cover charge. They do frisk at the door but were pretty decent about it.
This is a black club, though as the only white guy there I felt fine. No thug factor in sight, though this is often true of daytimes of clubs like this. Music was urban. Not my speed in music, but I actually found myself enjoying what they played. What they need to quit is letting the dj have an airhorn (or electronic version). Bottled water cost only $2. The club itself it long and narrow, but overall in very good shape for an urban style club. Best seats seem to be along the wall facing the only dance stage (2 poles). The back of the club is a VIP area, but other than a low partition it was just like the rest of the club. Reminded me of the VIP area at Pinups.
The stage was unused until 5pm. The girls either got fully nude or gave you a close up show when you go up to tip. One girl had some of the best pole moves I've ever seen.
