About 6 years ago I met a stunning Russian girl out at Oasis, a Long Island club. I wanted to see her again, and she said that she works at a club called Scandals every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. When she was describing the club to me, she put it bluntly - "Sometimes, too much the nigger". I used to go to this club all the time, it was a little ghetto, but the quality of the women made up for it. You can smoke after eleven, the lapdance area is exciting, I have had some GREAT times downstairs in the private rooms for half the price of a Manhattan club. However since the economic downturn, the quality of women has gone down. If I were to qualify that statement - there was always a good mix at this club, the Iron Curtain crew, a few local Greeks, some Irish and Italian girls, Blacks, Hispanics. Since the club across the street CITYSCAPES closed down - which was really ghetto, Scandals has seemed to absorbed some of that crowd. After that the girls that I was used to seeing started disappearing, and more and more the club started leaning toward the Black and Hispanic crowd. The good times I had there that kept me coming back, but I started to leave the club disappointed - so my visits to this club have tapered off. I have not been there for months. I have friends that really like Latino and Black chicks - but it is really not my thing. I am going to check it out this Sat, so I'll write another review next week.
