On this New Year’s Eve afternoon...

On this New Year’s Eve afternoon (Dec 31st, 2004), I made a visit to Topeka Sports Cabaret. Got in before 1:00PM, and stayed until 3:00PM. Noticed the change in the name of the club from Snafu’s to the new name. The tall sign “GIRLS” is still there, and is visible from quite far away!

There were about five dancers (smaller line-up could be due the holiday weekend), and about 10 to 15 patrons during my stay. Couple of dancers responded ok when tipped while they were on the stage. None of the dancers came to my table to talk to me. Dancers seemed not that friendlier.

What surprises me is that they spend so much to renovate and maintain the club, and at the same time they don’t bring in or don’t have friendly dancers!!
