I came back to Kahoots enough...
I came back to Kahoots enough to know when things are normal and when they are not. Today, they were not. I now understand how some folks write negative reviews of Kahoots. I came in about 3, so all the day-dancers were there by then. Quite a few were there, maybe a 2:1 girls to men. But the place had an odd feel. The regular manager and bouncer were both MIA, so that might be it, and the DJ seemed like someone different as well. I spent two hours and did one 2for1, and other than then I might as well have been invisible. Girls who normally chat-it-up were preoccupied with themselves, and one dancer, Kaylee, actually laid down on a booth seat and looked like she was taking a nap. Her girlfriend, Addison, spent most of her time cooing over Kaylee rather than working the crowd. My 2for1 was with Micah, a hottie with personality. When I asked her to return to the table after her stage performance, her "sure" turned into a "no show." Even Asia, who often is on her game, looked board out of her mind. So...while the club itself didn't change, the atmosphere was odd and aloof--not something you expect for a place where its $10/minute for a private dance. Just weird and unwelcoming. I'll have to revisit things after a while to see if there's a fundamental change or if this was a fluke.
