Continuing my attempt to visit all...
Continuing my attempt to visit all the San Antonio strip clubs, I finally got around to the Palace. I had heard that it is run by the same guys who run the SA Men's Club, but that the Palace is a notch higher in quality. It's very nice inside and was not smoky the day I visited. There's a sofa onstage (and NO pole), which adds some variety to the usual dancer moves. I noticed right away that the video screens were NOT playing sports, almost unprecedented in my experience. Instead, the screens showed music videos of the songs that were playing onstage. Since I'm not a sports fan, I thought this was a great breath of fresh air. I entered the club just before noon and only saw three dancers, but I did recognize they were all quite attractive; I saw NO tattoos, which is a real rarity these days, and all three dancers were trim and toned, without the extra poundage found in most clubs. One blonde, B*****y, was onstage when I sat down. Moments later she came by and chatted a few minutes before asking if I wanted a dance. I said yes and she led me to a side area with a slightly more private row of chairs. She gave me a nice, hot dance and allowed my hands freedom to move where I wanted. She seems to love her work, unlike a lot of girls, and maintains eye contact while she's taunting with her body. Very enjoyable. She was called back to the stage after a single dance, but it certainly seemed like more fun might be available. I did not find out about the VIP set-up; I did notice a glassed-in section up a flight of stairs, but I don't know what the price of access to that area might be. I waited a few minutes to see if another dancer might stop by, but there were more customers than girls at that point and I left after a few minutes. I was impressed with the club, though, and will definitely return to check it out in even further detail.
